ABOUT ALDONA KARCZMARCZYK
Based in Warsaw.
Aldona was born in Warsaw and studied at the School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódz. With over 20 years of experience, Aldona has been working as a fashion photographer creating inspired images for the editorial, corporate and fashion markets. She has earned recognition and respect in the photography field and her photographs have received numerous honours and awards in recent years. Her works has been featured in well-known publications, including Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, L’Officel among others.
She shoots mostly on analog. Her ongoing photo essay, depicting her everyday life, journeys and the urban cultural landscape, is more personal one. She has built a distinctive body of work and has been fortunate to travel the globe on variety commissions that have taken her to some of the worlds most challenging environments. Aldona has an unobtrusive and responsible approach to her subjects, this coupled with creative work ethic has led to a rewarding career.
