ABOUT JAKUB PLEŚNIARSKI
Based in Warsaw.
Jakub graduated with a specialisation in photography at the School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódz. Despite his young age, his portfolio includes photos of Anja Rubik, Zuza Bijoch and Ola Rudnicka. His work has been published in L'Officiel Polska, Elle, Elle Man, Forbes, Monitor Magazine, Wysokie Obcasy. He’s a lover of niche magazines such as Acne Paper, CR Fashion Book, LOVE Magazine, The Last Magazine, WSJ, Kinfolk and Cereal. He has a passion for architecture with a great fondness for American modernism and Bauhaus.
He started assisting the leading photographers in one of the largest photo studios in Warsaw, Studio Tęcza . During his trips to Paris fashion week and London fashion week, he photographed street fashion. He also photographed many interesting creative celebrities during interviews, from the fashion, design and art world, including Barbara Hulanicki and Diane Pernet.

I love working with models who are clear personalities. Who are self-confident and conscious girls, have their passions, their opinions on socially important topics.
Jakub takes photography personally…
In my photographs, I combine fashion with architecture or art and thus give the pictures a broader context. I like images that are simple in form but at the same time strong in expression. Composition, shape, form and of course light are extremely important to me.
