ABOUT ANNA DĄBROWSKA

Based in Cape Town.

Ania was born in Poland, grew up in Nigeria and moved to France at the age of 15. She is a professional fashion photographer with a great eye for detail. She graduated from the elite Institute of Political Science in Aix-en-Provence, before turning to photography.

Her photography has enabled her to travel the world and to learn, witness, and record the amazing grace of beauty, as well as the atrocities and hardships that surround us. Her publications in various magazines are popular amongst a global audience. Anna’s work was published in Vogue Mexico, GQ Russia, Elle France, L’Officiel Maroco and many others.

As I started organising the photo shooting, I left a lot of room for magic. I invited two students of classical ballet from South Africa, chose the dunes as their stage and asked their bodies to tell what was going on and what would happen in their lives.
